This strain is actually not a native to the Hawaiian Islands, but it comes from a Hawaiian spore supplier and so it was named. The exact origin of this strain is unknown but it’s impressive fruits have kept it in popular circulation.
It usually produces larger sized fruitbodies that somewhat resemble the Golden Teacher. It’s not certain if there is a relation between the GTs and this one, but they do share some similar characteristics.
