Matias Romero

This strain of the Psilocybe Cubensis is named after the Mexican village Matias Romero where it was collected for the first time by the famous American doctor and mycologist Stephen Pollock.
This strain is a very special one. In comparison with other strains of the Cubensis it’s truly amazing how it starts to fruit. It’s an early fruiter and they’re tenaciously attached to the casing.
Although it’s not a very big mushroom, they can become really fat.Standard spawn medium: Rye grain
Fruiting substrate: Rye grain, pasteurized wheat straw, leached horse or cow manure.
Temperature during colonization: 28 – 30 ° C
Temperature during cropping: 22 – 26 ° C
Humidity: > 90%
