Golden Mammoth

Well, there is a lot of Internet gospel going on about this strain. Here are some info’s we at FSRE have collected. A commercial vendor in Canada is the only  source claiming this strain. On there website thy have the following info’s:

“GOLDEN MAMMOTH’ (psilocybe aureus tantus) is the ultimate, amazing psilocybe cubensis strain. The Golden Mammoth has earned itself a reputation as the best among psilocybe cubensis magic mushrooms strains, the most prolific, reliable and resistant study available.

Developed 13 years ago by an expert mycologist with over 30 years experience, the Golden Mammoth strain arose after extensive research. Professionally perfected, the Golden Mammoth has a pure lineage and virus free genetic line. The Golden Mammoth is the strongest, most vigorous Psilocybe Cubensis strain in distribution. This strain delivers mammoth amounts of research material. General Appearance: Gold colored cap. White veiled stem 8″-10″ tall.” Source:

Wath ever the story is behind this strain, we at FSRE can confirm that it’s not a rename of the B+ or Golden Teacher. This strain shows his own unique characteristics. And we do belief that this strain is the result of hard work from a professional mycologist.

FoolonFruity said he has and said it was a stronger rhizomorphic(sp?) than B+ or GT and faster fruiting than GT. i may send a request for a print if there are any left.

  4. Is anybody still working withe this strain besides the commercial vendor in Canada and do they know who stabilized it?
